Model XVI Cello
Amati Pattern
These instruments are made from selected materials and consistently have great attention to detail both internally and in the exterior finish. Quality ebony fittings with a Despiau ‘Two Tree’ bridge fitted as standard.
A Workshop made instrument with hand applied oil varnish. The instrument is made on an adapted Amati pattern, with a typically English flourish to the scrolls and F holes. Occasionally a generic Stradivari pattern, with slightly squarer shoulders and flatter arching is used.
